Utrecht, 27 July 2022 - Brainial, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider based in Utrecht, the Netherlands, has achieved ISO certification, underlining the company's efforts in information security. ISO 27001 is one of the world's best known standards in the field of information security. Brainial thus demonstrates its compliance with the strictest standards in the field of information management and information security.
The ISO 27001 standard contains clear guidelines on how modern organisations should manage their information and data. Organisations that meet the ISO 27001 criteria have taken all the necessary precautions to ensure that data in the organisation is stored securely and confidentially and is handled with integrity. The certification also means that the 24/7 availability of software, data and systems is guaranteed.
Brainial received the certifications after completing an intensive certification process. Molenaar & Plasman Netherlands guided Brainial through this process. The external audit was carried out by DNV/Auvaro.
Fedor Klinkenberg, CEO at Brainial: "Our choice to enter into an ISO 27001 certification process was partly fed by the need of the customer. At Brainial we regularly work with sensitive data and customers want to be sure that we handle this information properly. With ISO 27001, we show customers that we meet the highest standards in the field of information security."
Increased quality of information management
With this ISO certification, Brainial further distinguishes itself from the competition. The certifications have further increased the quality of information management in the organization. ISO 27001 stimulated Brainial to set up a well-functioning and robust information management system that is continuously optimised.
